Summer Blog Challenge | Expedition of Truths

The Summer Blog Challenge is back again for a second year and has become a yearly thing amongst friends and I’m pretty excited about it this year. I’m coming to the game with a new blog (well not new for me) but new for the challenge as www.theguthrie.ca was my old blog during that challenge and I retired it in October of last year I believe. It was a blog that really served no purpose and was just so damn negative. I think I even had a subtitle called “The Grumpy Scotsman” lol. Ah how times and people change.

This new blog of mine has really been a personal journal of my experience and personal growth over the last year. Some people may find it controversial, some people may think I’m stupid, some people may not give two craps however I don’t care. This is my blog and I’ll write what I want. Yes Chad I won’t bug you about your WoW posts this year or Cliff’s posts about some of the games he plays. I’ve learnt to appreciate what people write and like I said and like Cliff said to me once (maybe not in these exact words), it’s my blog and I’ll write what I want.

So the challenge is quite simple:

Post every day (August 3rd to September 2nd) 31 Days.
150 words minimum

There may be some inner challenges where we post about the same topic on all the blogs in competition however that has not been set in stone.
