Leaders Incentive

Yesterday we qualified for a leaders incentive at our upline Emeralds parents farm.  The qualification was the Eagle parameter or higher.  We’ve held the Eagle qualification since we first went Eagle in February and re-qualified this month for this incentive which was a huge goal for us because we wanted to experience this incentive and be around some highly elevated people.

We were split into teams and we were matched up with our crossline Eagles so that was awesome.  We really enjoy getting to know them on a more personal level and at these events we don’t really have to worry about “crosslining” to much because it’s a day full of fun times.  The day started out with us in our teams doing a few quick team games to get the excitement going for the day.  After that the next event was our own version of “The Amazing Race” where we raced from the farm 30KM’s into Athabasca and where challenges and roadblocks were set out all over the town.  It was done very first class where we actually felt like we were in The Amazing Race.  Sadly we didn’t do so well however we enjoyed the time with our fellow Eagles :)

We went into a dreambuilding excerisze were everyone shared why they are building this business and what this business means to them.  Every single person in that room spoke on relationships with their significant others, marriages with their partners, and family.  That is why we build this business is for all of that.  We build it because we want strong marriages which is exactly what this room was full of.  We build this to set examples of what a great marriage should be.  Not saying there are are not good marriages out there however we want a GREAT marriage.  Getting around others that want the same thing, are doing the same thing helps us grow so that we can achieve that as well.  It was so humbling to see why others are building this business and how its impacted them.

Next was dinner with a HUGE feast fit for kings!  So much food.  I really used this time well to get around the male leaders in our organization and soak it in.  I had a few questions that were on my mind that I had asked, however it was more about getting around the leaders outside of functions and boardplans.  It was awesome to get real with the men in this organization as if we were friends for a long time.  Its just been an amazing blessing to get around these people in a casual setting like this.

Lastly was where everyone in the room got to share for some time on what was on their heart, what they are going through or pretty much anything.  I was on the verge of tears pretty much the whole time when others were speaking because that was how motivational, how inspiring others were.  When it was our time to speak I just unloaded and cried because of what was on my heart.  My wife’s one year was on my heart and how I almost stole her dream and vision for our future.  Because of my arrogant, statusy, negative, skeptical attitude towards what she was doing at the start, I almost tore that away from her.  5 months I did this, until I saw exactly what this business and association was.  I spoke what was on my heart and I thanked my wife for having the courage to stand up to me and take charge, take charge where I wasn’t and set the path for our future.  For that I cannot thank her enough.  It was pretty damn emotional to share that in front of 75 or so people in that room.  Everyone else shared various things and every single thing people said in that room was different, but impactful just the same. 

I cannot begin to explain or express within this blog just how impactful Saturday was.  It’s something that needs to be experienced and is something that you will not find in any other business out there.  No traditional business can compete with what we have and that is why I build this business WITH my wife.  We will continue to move our life forward and continue to be united to the ‘n’th degree.

Moving Ahead

LongRoadAhead I’ve had some time this weekend while packing to think about where we are going in life and some of the goals we have set out for us and how hard we are working to obtain them.  Currently we are gunning for a parameter in our business called Double Eagle.  Basically it’s doubling our business and having that right parameter of proper width in our business instead of focusing on depth.  Having proper width in this business helps build a solid foundation.  We’ve seen the great examples in our coaches, our coaches coaches and so on and so forth.  This is why the Alberta market is the fastest and most solid business in World Wide Dreambuilders. 

Now I’ll tell you we are busy.  However it’s a good busy because we are doing some short term pain for the long term gain we will receive in the end.  We are investing time up front so that we can gain time in the end.  It’s called reaping what you sow and I’ve talked about it before here.  This business is the hardest thing I’ve ever done but when I look at what we will achieve, it doesn’t matter.  We have the do whatever it takes mentality and it’s this mentality that will help us become successful and in turn help our team become successful.

I said we are gunning for “Double Eagle” and while we are gunning for it we are doing it with integrity.  Which means we are not running around asking everyone we see to get involved or we are going to misguide people into saying this is easy and a quick buck, BECAUSE IT’S NOT.  We are looking for dreamers, people with a good work ethic, people who want more out of life then the 9-5, people who are looking for mentorship in life and people who are coachable.  Once we find these people (which are the 2%), we take them through a qualification process and give them all the information they will ever need to make a qualified decision about what we do.  If they are someone we want to invest time into then we will extend that offer to go into business and then help coach them through this amazing opportunity.

What’s really awesome is that while we are going Double Eagle, my wife will now have the choice of going to work or not.  That’s is the huge motivational factor of us gunning for this mile stone in our business.  How awesome is it that she will have a CHOICE?  I am looking forward to having a wife that has choice because with that choice comes a reduction in stress.  I cannot even begin to write how this is going to feel and how this is going to change our relationship. 

So yes we are busy and may not be calling some of our friends to hang out as much as we did before (they are not calling either), however the most important thing in our lives right now is our future and our family.  We are building this for them and that’s more important than anything right now.  We have given up our short term thinking mentality and that selfish “NOW” attitude and are ahead long term to make sure we are setup for success.  That is why we are busy now and why we are moving ahead.

1000 Pin Crossing

My Beautiful Wife and I Crossing as 1000 Pins

Saturday evening we crossed stage as new 1000 pins.  It’s basically a volume pin from Amway Global.  It’s not a World Wide Dreambuilder parameter like Eagle is.  Really means we are on our way to building a solid business and really that wasn’t even where we finished last month, we hit 1000 pin and blew past it. 

I’m more excited about building a solid business and really investing time into people so that they can also build the solid business we have.  While it’s simple what we do it does require hard work and effort.  It’s like price and prize.  If you want that big prize then you need to pay the price.  That’s success, are you willing to pay the price?

We are on our way to the next step 2500 pin! 

 

 

Fly Like an Eagle

Well Steve Miller captured it perfectly in his song “Fly Like an Eagle” which totally represents the goal we have recently achieved in our business. 

 

Yes we are “Eagles” which for 75% (EDIT: previously had 99.9% but there are quite a few of you who do understand) of you reading this will mean nothing to you.  However it means a HUGE deal to us because we’ve obtained a level in this business that only 5% of the people obtain.  We obtained it because we worked hard at something we 110% believe in.  There is nothing you can say to me that can tell us this does not work.  Oh it works alright.  We’ve seen it first hand in our direct coaches, their coaches, their coaches, and so on.  We are building an amazing team of people who want more out of life, people who are looking for coaching and mentorship.  You have no idea how amazing it is to sow into people that are so open and deserving of coaching and mentorship.  We are in the business of changing lives and we are doing that right now.  It’s very humbling.

We recently attended an organizational open for Mike and Brandie Wagner where David Payne came in to show us an amazing plan.  David spoke his heart out and really has sown so much time into Mike and Brandie and for that they’ve built an amazing Emerald business.  Without them building the business we would not be where we are.  We would not be investing time into people, helping people realize the potential they have and just helping them build amazing relationships with other people and with themselves.  We would not have the amazing marriage we have now, no it wasn’t bad before, however it’s 10x’s better now because of this business.  When you associate with people that have awesome marriages and that really serve each other as a couple, you become that.  You are the product of the books you read and the people you associate with.  I believe in that statement more then you can even know! 

We WILL achieve the huge goals and dreams we have set out because we have them written down and plastered over our condo, and we associate with like minded people.  We believe fully in what we do which is 95% investing into people by coaching and mentoring and 5% a business vehicle.

The Guthrie Train is moving on, and we have a Double Eagle vision!
