Just to let you know I am NOT in the business at all at this point. My wife is the one at this time that is full ahead with the business. I am here at Free Enterprise Days to support my wife and to get a better understanding of what this business is about, what can be achieved, and how to be free. I’m updating and maintaining this blog so that I can record how things are going good or bad.
Having been at the sessions all day today I can tell you I sure am motivated and excited just from a guest point of view. I can see why the people that are actually in the business go to these events as they can help recharge, rejuvenate and help you focus on the goals that you have set out for yourself. I totally get that. It also helps you get around people who are higher then you which are referred to as “uplines”. These people are where they are because they have worked hard and persevered when people have shot them down or said “this isn’t for me”.
Now there is one thing that bugs me about being down here and at this event which I could do without. It’s not really about the business but more about the attitude of the American people. They are VERY patriotic in an arrogant way. It just amazes me the differences between Canadian and American culture and really how different we are even though we are on the same continent. I don’t get much into it just that it turns me off when I have to listen to propaganda that is not always true.
Either way the Free Enterprise System is why we are here this weekend and to listen to how people have made successes from this system. To say I am not excited for what my wife is doing would be a lie. Having heard two people on the stage from the same city I’m from (Edmonton, Alberta) really excites me because I know the team that my wife is on will only get better and have great success. This successes wouldn’t be possible without the help of the Amway Global company. Yeah yeah I said the word Amway. OOoooOOOooooh! Let me give you a few quick stats about Amway and what type of company they are. I’ll go into more details on Amway in another post but I’ll give you this to think about.
- Amway made 8.2 Billion dollars this previous year
- Amway is in 80 different countries
- Amway just celebrated 50 years in business
- Amway is a 100% debt free company
- Amway has no stocks or shareholders
If this is such a bad and “illegal” company then how is it still in business with stats like that in an economy such as this??

I’ll write more later about Amway and how its incorporated here however Amway and it’s products are only the method to all of this. The main goals here is providing mentorship, and building dreams so that we can become free.
