Figured I’d post a few slides shown by Amway at our recent FED conference. There are some naysayers out there saying business is slowing down, or business isn’t growing in North America, however here are some stats from the horses mouth as it were showing otherwise.
New IBO Applications +12%
PV per Engaged IBOs +8% (I’ll assume engaged = active)
New IBO PV +7%
$50 Fast Track +30% (Fast Track program is now a full time program and has expanded)
First year renewal rates were +2%
Highest qualification growth rate for the US since 2003
You know there is always a silver lining to everything and recently we’ve got a lot of backorders due to the increase in sales and people ordering. While backorders suck its because of increased sales, overall up 12% and customers sales up 34% compared to the same time last year. That’s amazing and shows the power of what we have to offer. People are buying the products despite what people may say, why? Because they are of great quality with a great price. If they were not we wouldn’t buy them, cause as most of my friends know I’m Scottish and can sometimes be frugal.
Amway is working hard to increase production and processing equipment by making some capital investments, and with a company that is financially stable that’s a no brainer. They are also focusing efforts with suppliers to secure sustained supply of quality ingredients and materials that need to meet Amway’s strict quality standards. So while this may have an impact in how we do business they are actually taking steps to prevent this in the future.
Come on now, that’s pretty impressive when a company can continually grow during a global economic recession and slow down that is still going on. Don’t kid yourself we are still in it. People are looking for an opportunity to further their wealth, even if that’s a few hundred dollars a month extra. People are buying the products (as indicated here) so to those who think we are priced wrong, give your head a shake. All companies have products priced 1/3 lower than competitors, 1/3 the same give or take, and 1/3 more expensive than their competition. Every company does that.
This is great news and I’m even more excited about the 5% growth in North America that Steve Lieberman was quoted saying. That means it’s not only China, India or Korea making the increases. I’m excited to hit 1 Billion just in Canada! Oh yes it will happen.
Check out the facts, check out the links they don’t lie. Have a question about them? Call Amway and ask then, don’t go check some guys blog (including mine, I’m not perfect or the answer man) and take it as gospel. Do your own credible research.
Well Dream Night Tickets went on sale Thursday and within 60 minutes the event which holds I believe EDIT: 850 people was sold out. To my knowledge that has never happened within World Wide Dreambuilders. Can you say there is some excitement and energy in the Edmonton / Calgary market of World WIde Dreambuilders / Amway ? I think so.
Because of the huge success and quick sell out, World Wide had to scramble to get another Dream Night setup so people could attend. The Calgary location I believe is also looking at expanding or moving the venue because it’s quickly filling up. Again this has never happened to my knowledge. Quite impressive.
If I’ve not made my point that things here in Edmonton and Calgary are booming and that things here are a bit different then what you’ve seen in the past then I don’t know what else I can say. To be brutally honest I don’t care if I’ve made my point. Things ARE different period. The last thing and yet the most important thing about what has happened here is the fact we are impacting the rest of World Wide Dreambuilders. That in its self is probably the biggest blessing hidden within this massive event.
The growth in Canada is unreal and this is just the start!
I’ve finished off a couple of books “Household Gold” and “Personality Tree”, you can find both of those on the right hand side of my blog with links.
I’m now onto “The Magic of Thinking Big”. My wife just finished it last week and I figured I’d pick it up and see what it’s all about. Right now I’m all about the input and getting good information, motivation, and success principals will only help make me more successful down the road. When you listen to successful people you’ll notice that what comes out of their mouth is the product of the input and if you put garbage ideas and thoughts into your brain then the same thing comes out of your mouth.
Make sure to add this book to the list of books you read in 2010! Check it out.
