Wanting Something So Bad

Have you ever wanted something so bad that it aches if you think you won’t achieve it?  That’s how it is for us this past month.  I think more so for my wife then me but I am starting to feel it too.  Its really hard to explain and I know Lindsay tried to explain it to some friends last night and I think they thought we were a bit crazy.  Are we crazy?  I don’t know, maybe a little, however we want freedom so bad that we are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that freedom and we believe without a double what we are doing will obtain that.  We are not only building this amazing business for ourselves or for our future family, we are building this business to also help other families do the same.

The Guthrie’s have a HUGE HUGE heart and while we want success in our own lives we want to give other people the same success that we are experiencing RIGHT NOW.  Yeah that’s right, we are experiencing success.  No we are not making millions, but we are making money on the side (even with tools and functions) but more importantly we are paying off huge amounts of debt which is our first and foremost goal.  Like I’ve said before nothing we are doing is revolutionary, but it’s the association we get around that keeps us motivated and goal orientated which is what we want others to experience.

So we want this bad, we want this REALLY bad so that we can impact lives, impact families, and help people realize there is something more to life then the average 8 hours a day at a J.O.B.  Its time to step out of the B game and get into the A game so that you can give back more of your time to your family and friends and the things that are important to you.  You really need to ask yourself what are you willing to do NOW to give you the freedom for your future.  Do you want it bad enough to change?  Honestly, do you want it bad enough?  WE DO!

Reminder Why

I like to reflect back on why I build our business and why we contract with World Wide Dreambuilders and Amway Global. I’ve written about this before but like to write again because as I’ve grown personally my reasons for building this grows as well.  There are quite a few reasons why we build this business:

  1. First and foremost we want our kids to be raised by us and not a day home or daycare worker
  2. We want to spend more time with my family and help them free up more time
  3. We want freedom from our jobs so we are not told what to do by some boss
  4. We want to expand our dreams and goals so they are not bound by the amount of money we make in our jobs
  5. We want to be debt free – which we are well on our way already
  6. We want to have more kids then if we were not in this business.  We originally said 2-3 kids, well now we are saying more 3-4 kids
  7. We want to help free other people and teach them to do the same as what we’ve done
  8. Lastly (well probably not lastly, but for this list today) we want to IMPACT people in a BIG BIG way.

We’ve realized that regular 9-5 jobs do not work and WILL NOT help us achieve these goals we have.  So if we believe that then why wouldn’t we try something else?  What do we have to loose?  Nothing.  However since we’ve been building this business we’ve seen other people that are directly coaching us achieve some of these goals themselves.  Success principals teach that if you want to do achieve things other people do then you need to associate with them.  Association is HUGE and it’s not just World Wide Dreambuilders or Amway Global that teaches that, that is in pretty much every single success book you read.  We associate with some pretty amazing people and there is nothing you can say that otherwise that would change my opinion of those people.  People don’t realize it but we need coaches and mentors in our lives because if you think about it a lot of us are crappy at our own lives. haha seriously.  We get into huge amounts of debt, are irresponsible about it and just let it grow and not take care of it.  We were one of them until we were coached by Christine who has helped us knock down some significant amounts of debt.  THAT is awesome!

We do this because we want more out of life, we don’t want to be the average person out there living paycheck to paycheck.  We will are willing to do whatever it takes which is why we will not quit like so many others before us. So you have to ask yourself, are you doing whatever it takes to become more then just average?
